The challenge
Mazda Canada's dealer network spans hundreds of dealerships whose staff join, move, and leave constantly. Every dealership depends on accurate distribution groups for recalls, programs, and communications, and on working identities for the applications dealers use daily.
Maintaining that estate by hand meant drift: stale groups, missed communications, and support tickets that consumed IT time. Dealer group administration needed to become an automated system with a single source of truth.
Our approach
BITSUMMIT designed and operates an automated synchronization pipeline in Mazda's Microsoft tenant, built from the dealer roster outward.

The roster as the source of truth
Dealer roster data flows through an automated pipeline that builds and reconciles 1,325 distribution groups against the authoritative dealer record, replacing manual group upkeep.
Built for constant change
The pipeline is engineered defensively for real-world edge cases in dealer data, so the sync stays reliable as the network changes shape.
Extending into identity modernization
The program has expanded into a dealer identity and application modernization engagement built on Microsoft Entra ID, modernizing how dealer staff authenticate to the applications the network runs on.
The outcome
1,325 dealer distribution groups are now created and synchronized from the authoritative roster by an automated, monitored pipeline running in production.
The same platform is carrying the next phase - a dealer identity and application modernization program built on Microsoft Entra ID - so each investment builds on the last.
