BITSUMMIT migrated the organization from Slack to Microsoft Teams with zero data loss, reaching 95% adoption within two weeks on a unified Microsoft 365 platform.

Euna Solutions had been running team communication on Slack while its Microsoft 365 footprint kept expanding, and the two never quite fit together. Slack sat apart from the apps people used all day, which created friction between departments and made genuinely seamless collaboration harder than it should have been.
Moving to Microsoft Teams was the obvious fix, but it carried two real risks. Years of conversation history, files, and channel structure had to come across without loss, with their integrity and accessibility intact on the other side, and more than 500 employees had to switch communication platforms without their daily work skipping a beat. That made user adoption as much a part of the project as the data migration itself.
Euna Solutions was running Slack alongside a growing Microsoft 365 estate, and the two never fully fit together. Moving more than 500 employees to Microsoft Teams meant preserving years of conversation history and getting people productive on the new platform fast, so BITSUMMIT planned the migration around the data and the people in equal measure.

Map the environment before touching it
BITSUMMIT evaluated the Slack workspace in detail, over 200 channels with their roles and permissions, roughly 1 TB of messages, files, and integrations, and the 50-plus third-party apps and custom integrations wired into it, so nothing important would be missed in the move.
Plan and stage the migration
The team selected migration tooling built for secure, large-scale transfer, set a phased plan that kept the business running throughout, and put a communication plan in place to keep every level of the organization informed.
Move the data without losing it
Complete data sets were pulled with Slack's Enterprise Export, converted to a Teams-compatible format with purpose-built scripts, and imported through Microsoft's Graph API and supporting tools, with channel structures and permissions preserved on the other side.
Land it inside Microsoft 365
Teams was configured to match Euna Solutions' organizational hierarchy, Azure Active Directory single sign-on gave seamless authentication across services, and the essential third-party apps were re-integrated so existing workflows carried over.
Drive adoption deliberately
Fifteen interactive training sessions and tailored user guides got people comfortable with Teams, a pilot group shaped the rollout before it went wide, and dedicated support channels inside Teams gave staff real-time help as they switched.
Within two weeks of cutover, 95% of Euna Solutions' people were actively using Microsoft Teams, and the data they relied on came across intact, with channel structures and permissions preserved.
Consolidating onto one platform inside Microsoft 365 reduced tool switching by 30% and, through Teams' integration with the rest of Microsoft 365, lifted collaborative document editing by 25%. Employee surveys showed a 40% improvement in satisfaction with their communication tools, the move brought the benefit of Microsoft's built-in security and compliance, and centralizing management reduced IT overhead by 20%.
