AI Solutions Developer (Claude & LLM Engineering)

We are looking for an AI Solutions Developer who lives at the frontier of large language models. At BITSUMMIT you will design, build, and improve custom solutions powered by Claude and other leading LLMs, then host and optimize them on Azure so they run reliably and cost-efficiently at scale. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who ships production systems, not prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Build custom solutions on Claude and other LLMs: agents, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, tool-use integrations, and prompt and context engineering for production workloads.
• Continuously improve existing AI solutions for accuracy, latency, reliability, and cost.
• Architect, deploy, and host solutions on Azure (App Service, Container Apps, Functions, AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI, AKS) with a relentless focus on cost optimization.
• Instrument and monitor token usage, model spend, and performance, then tune them down without sacrificing quality.
• Integrate LLM systems with client data, APIs, and enterprise platforms securely.
• Evaluate and adopt new models, frameworks, and techniques as the field evolves.
• Work directly with clients and engineers to turn requirements into working systems, and document and present what you build.

Requirements

• Proven, hands-on experience building production solutions with Claude and other LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, open-weight models).
• Deep skill in prompt and context engineering, agentic workflows, tool and function calling, and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Strong software engineering in Python and/or TypeScript, with solid API, database, and integration experience.
• Hands-on Azure experience deploying and hosting applications, with a demonstrated track record of cloud cost optimization.
• A cutting-edge mindset: you follow the frontier closely and bring new tools and techniques to the team.
• Independent, self-driven, and comfortable owning projects end to end in a client-facing setting.
• A recent project you have published. Your application must include a link to a recent project you have shipped or published (GitHub repository, live app, demo, or technical write-up) that shows your work with LLMs.
