Welcome to the Age of Pseudo-Experts

GPT Gave You a Voice. Not a Brain.

GPT didn't just make your job easier.

It made your role easier to fake.

It gave you sentences that sound confident.

Slides that look smart.

Language that convinces.

Everyone's now a strategist.

Everyone's now a thought leader.

Everyone has a "framework."

Until someone asks: Why this one?

And then? Silence.

The Rise of Copy-Paste Authority

We're watching professionals trade thinking for templates.

They prompt.

Polish.

Paste.

Post.

Not laziness but disguise.

Confident syntax.

Zero depth.

We now have:

  • Strategic language without strategic thought.
  • Decks polished by no one in the room.
  • Experts who've never taken a hit for their own decisions.

Judgment is the New Scarcity

GPT makes everything sound good. That's the trap.

Why pressure-test a decision when the tone already sounds right?

Why struggle through ambiguity when the output looks clean?

We've replaced uncertainty with formatting.

Swapped exploration for polish.

And when things break?

No one's quite sure who made the call.

This Isn't Hypothetical

We've seen PMs fold mid-presentation.

The deck looked smart. They didn't know the tradeoffs.

We've seen strategic roadmaps copied top-to-bottom from GPT.

It's not efficiency. It's absence.

Of thought. Of ownership. Of consequence.

What We Do Differently at BITSUMMIT

We don't prompt and polish.

We interrogate.

We escalate.

We rewrite.

Every GPT-assisted asset is:

  • Audited by real humans.
  • Validated by risk owners.
  • Pressure-tested before it reaches a client.

If it fails, someone owns the failure.

That's how trust scales.

Final Thought: Output is Cheap. Judgment Isn't.

You can GPT your way to clean language.

But not to context. Or risk. Or decision-making.

So before you hit paste, ask:

Are you driving the idea, or just dressing it up?

Bonus: The GPT Detox Checklist

Before you share that "brilliant" slide, idea, or write up, run it through this list:

  • Did I make a decision?
  • Did I say something that could be wrong?
  • Did I remove something unnecessary?
  • Did I reference anything outside GPT's training window?
  • Did I inject a personal experience, tradeoff, or risk?

If you didn't hit 3 of these, it's not your idea.

It's your prompt.
