I started at BITSUMMIT last year, and from the very beginning, it was clear that this was a company built on more than just metrics, targets, and growth. Of course, the work matters. Results, performance, and progress are important. But so are the people behind the work, the values guiding it, and the impact we make beyond our day-to-day roles. That balance is something I have come to deeply appreciate during my time here, and it is one of the reasons I am proud to be part of this team.

One of the most meaningful parts of my experience has been seeing how BITSUMMIT approaches giving back. There is no grandstanding, no pressure for recognition, and no sense that generosity is being used as a branding tool. Instead, there is a genuine belief that if you are able to help, you should. Over the past few months, I have seen firsthand how the company supports causes that truly make a difference, including SickKids, Children’s Health Foundation, and Make-A-Wish. These are not just names on a list. They represent real people, real families, and real moments of hope during incredibly difficult times.

What made this experience even more personal for me was having the opportunity to help choose the charities we supported. I found myself naturally gravitating toward organizations focused on children. That choice came easily and felt instinctive. Childhood, for many of us, holds some of our happiest and most carefree memories. The world feels brighter then. Colors seem more vivid, moments feel lighter, and joy comes more easily. You do not yet understand the weight of responsibility, hardship, or loss that adulthood can bring.

Sadly, not every child gets to experience that sense of carefree happiness. Many face challenges far too heavy for their age, including serious illness, uncertainty, and fear. Supporting children-focused charities felt important because, in some small way, it helps restore moments of joy, comfort, excitement, or relief during incredibly difficult times. Whether it is funding life-saving care, supporting families through treatment, or granting a wish that gives a child something positive to look forward to, these moments matter more than we often realize.

Knowing that BITSUMMIT quietly contributes to these causes, without any expectation of praise, makes me incredibly proud to be part of this team. It is a reminder that success does not have to come at the expense of compassion. You can build something meaningful, ambitious, and impactful while still choosing to show up for others.

I am grateful to work for a company that believes giving back is not an afterthought. It is part of who we are. Being surrounded by people who genuinely want to make a positive impact, even in small ways, has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey here so far.
