The challenge

Mark Anthony Group (MAG) is one of North America's fastest-growing beverage companies, with a diverse portfolio and a strong growth trajectory. As its operations scaled rapidly across teams and geographies, the need for a more resilient and secure IT foundation became mission-critical.

Device onboarding was inconsistent, which delayed getting users fully operational. Endpoint management lacked the automation and scalability a growing, mobile workforce needs, gaps in security left the environment exposed to emerging threats, and compliance requirements were getting harder to meet and sustain. Beyond the immediate fixes, MAG's internal IT teams also had to plan for future growth: better tools to manage a fast-expanding device ecosystem, stronger visibility into system health, and governance frameworks that could keep pace with a shifting regulatory landscape.

To keep scaling without disruption, MAG needed a technology partner that could move quickly, deliver lasting improvements across every layer of the environment, and position it for secure, sustainable growth in the years ahead.

Our approach

Working closely with Mark Anthony Group's IT and leadership teams, BITSUMMIT delivered a comprehensive, phased modernization program built on four ideas: build scalable, secure systems; automate and streamline endpoint management; embed compliance from the ground up; and empower MAG's internal teams for long-term independence. In practice, that played out across six connected service areas.

Mark Anthony Group three-year managed modernization: a capability map of six connected service areas - device management with Windows Autopilot, security and compliance with Okta and Intune, automation and reporting, application lifecycle, Patch Management as a Service, and Endpoint Manager managed services - across a 100+ engagement partnership, designed by BITSUMMIT

Device management and modernization

BITSUMMIT standardized device provisioning with Windows Autopilot, helping MAG onboard Windows and Apple devices faster and more securely, and improved Azure Active Directory hygiene to strengthen identity management and create a scalable, compliant authentication environment.

Security and compliance frameworks

Working with MAG's IT team, BITSUMMIT deployed modern BYOD policies, strengthened endpoint protection by removing vulnerable software, and integrated Okta with Intune for tighter access control, then streamlined compliance by embedding proactive patching standards, simplifying audits, and reinforcing governance to meet evolving regulatory needs.

Automation and reporting

To lift operational efficiency, BITSUMMIT automated OS updates with Windows Update Auto-Patch and deployed real-time dashboards for proactive endpoint monitoring, and secured the Microsoft Endpoint Manager environment with regular configuration backups to keep disaster recovery readiness in place.

Application lifecycle management

BITSUMMIT packaged and deployed more than 30 critical applications to improve user productivity, and built knowledge bases that left MAG's IT teams able to manage and evolve their environments independently.

Patch Management as a Service

Through its Patch Management as a Service offering, BITSUMMIT delivered consistent server patching, vulnerability assessment, and compliance reporting, reducing security risk and keeping the infrastructure audit-ready.

Endpoint Manager managed services

BITSUMMIT designed, maintained, and optimized MAG's Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Azure Active Directory environments to best practice, strengthening device and identity management across the organization.

The outcome

Today Mark Anthony Group operates on a stronger, smarter digital foundation built for resilience and growth, with measurable impact across every layer of its IT environment. Device onboarding is faster across Windows and Apple platforms, so employees are productive from day one; security baselines are stronger, reducing risk exposure across an expanding digital footprint; and compliance has shifted from a scramble to a proactive, manageable operation.

Automated patching and system monitoring have freed the internal IT teams from manual overhead to focus on innovation, knowledge bases and governance frameworks have left them able to scale and adapt with confidence, and consistent system-health monitoring and disaster-recovery readiness have reduced operational risk and downtime. Across hundreds of engagements, the focus on outcomes has helped MAG increase agility, harden cybersecurity, and unlock new operational flexibility, and as the partnership continues into its third year, the foundation built together keeps driving real business value and sets the stage for what comes next.

Three years and hundreds of engagements modernizing Mark Anthony Group's IT - faster onboarding, hardened security, and compliance built to scale with the business.
